It has been reported that Gwadar and Turbat airports will remain closed for international flights. The Civil Aviation Authority has issued a notice to resume normal international flight operations. International flights will be allowed to operate from all international airports of the country except Gwadar and Turbat. Initially, the flights will operate only for the Gulf countries, after which the flight operations for the rest of the countries will be resumed in a phased manner.
For the Gulf countries, workers will also be given priority in the operation. It should be noted that Pakistan had suspended international and domestic flights in March due to the spread of Corona virus.Later, limited domestic flights and special flights were allowed to bring back stranded Pakistanis abroad. A few weeks ago, the country was also allowed to resume outbound international flights. On June 16, Prime Minister Imran Khan gave permission to open Pakistan's airspace. Under the decision of the Prime Minister, the Civil Aviation Authority has now issued a formal notice for resumption of international flights.
