(Latest newspaper from newstime-June 6- 2020)Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that today the world is acknowledging Pakistan's strategy against Corona. The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has lauded Pakistan's efforts to disburse such a large amount of money in the shortest possible time under the Ehsas program.
In his tweets on social networking site Twitter on Saturday, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that Dr Sania Nishtar and the entire Ehsas team deserved credit for the Ehsas program. The Prime Minister said that God has been gracious to our country. He also appreciated the services of the entire nation, command and control team and medical staff. The Prime Minister said that our country is at a point where full implementation of precautionary measures can still save us from great trouble.
The Prime Minister said that the poor class has been most affected by the lockdown in the world, the situation in Corona not only affects the poor class but also grinds the white class into poverty. Even in a country like the United States, people are being fed in queues. He said that the lockdown caused by Corona in backward countries has proved to be even more devastating.
The Prime Minister said that the people affected by the lockdown had been helped but the government could not provide financial assistance to all with limited resources. "We have to increase our revenue," he said. This requires that the wheel of the economy continue to turn. He said that businesses are being opened with SOPs. Corona Force volunteers will ensure implementation of these SOPs. The Prime Minister said that instructions would now be issued to the Tiger Force on a regular basis. Volunteers will be needed even if the hotspots are closed in the coming days. This force will share the burden of the administration and play its role in preventing the spread of Corona by raising awareness among the people.
