Joe Biden has the support he needs to run for president

Former US Vice President Joe Biden has received the required support to run as a Democratic candidate in the upcoming presidential election.

Primaries were held last week in seven states and the District of Columbia, with the results in favor of Biden on Friday night. In the event of a formal nomination, Biden would face incumbent President Donald Trump. The US presidential election will be held in November this year.
