I have no desire to meet Nawaz Sharif, I am sitting alone at the moment, it will be what Allah will approve. Statement of Jahangir Tareen, Senior Central Leader of PTI
(Latest newspaper from newstime-June 18- 2020)Jahangir Tareen, senior central leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has said that he is not an opportunist to go and sit with Nawaz. He has no desire to meet Nawaz Sharif. "I am a principled politician, I am not an opportunist to go and sit with him," he said in an audio statement.
I have not met Nawaz Sharif and I have no desire to meet Nawaz Sharif. We have had a struggle against PML-N. The media cell of the former prime minister is spreading baseless news regarding the meeting with Nawaz Sharif. "I will do my best to stay with the PTI," he said.

I am sitting alone at the moment, it will be what is acceptable to Allah.

It is to be noted that news was circulating on social media yesterday regarding the claim of sources that after being angry with Prime Minister Imran Khan and being named in the sugar scandal, Jahangir Tareen sent a message to former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to meet him twice. In response, former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif expressed conditional readiness for the meeting. But there was complete silence for a few days, which made it seem that the conditions laid down by Nawaz Sharif were not feasible.                                                                                                                 It is now known that the reason for the silence regarding the meeting was not the implementation of the conditions but Jahangir Tareen was not present in London and he had gone to Switzerland with his son to look after his business affairs. On his return, he has sent a third message to Nawaz Sharif for a meeting. It seems that the conditions set by Nawaz Sharif for the meeting are acceptable to Jahangir Tareen. Regarding the conditions, sources said that Nawaz Sharif told Jahangir Tareen that he would hold a media talk in London and confess to all the political crimes he committed in the 2018 elections. But so far nothing has come to light regarding Jahangir Tareen's readiness.
