Federal Minister for Science and Technology Chaudhry Fawad Hussain has proposed to set up a think tank comprising all political parties to openly express and criticize on mutual issues, participating in a talk show on a private TV channel on Wednesday. He said that a joint forum for mutual consultation or expression of disagreement would be better for political harmony in the country.

He said that in this regard, it was important to promote political understanding instead of criticizing in media talk shows. Chaudhry Fawad Hussain said that the people had given us a political mandate in the last elections for non-discriminatory accountability. When it comes to accountability of political elements, political pressure is put on the government. He said that accountability within the party is the basis of democracy. To a question, he said that former Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz were on bail and both of them had been convicted by the court.
