(Latest newspaper from newstime-June 4- 2020)Federal Minister for Science and Technology Chaudhry Fawad Hussain has said that the government is committed to implement SOPs including social distance to curb the spread of Corona virus in the country. Talking to a private TV channel on Thursday, he said it was unfortunate that the people were not taking precautionary measures which could worsen the situation in the future.
Chaudhry Fawad Hussain said that fines should be imposed on those violating SOPs. He said that the deadly epidemic was on the rise and even six members of the National Assembly had died from code-19. It is important to stop the spread of the global epidemic which the government is taking steps to control, the Minister of Science and Technology said that some employees of Parliament House have also been infected with the virus. In these circumstances a virtual session of Parliament should be called.
