Emirates has announced the launch of flights from Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad

Emirates has announced the launch of 14 scheduled weekly flights to Dubai from June 8, 2020, including one daily flight from Karachi, five from Lahore and two from Islamabad.

Emirates will also carry cargo to Dubai with UAE nationals on a flight from Pakistan. Only cargo will be brought by the airline on flights from Dubai to Pakistan.
Emirates will offer travel with its state-of-the-art Boeing 300-777 ER aircraft, with one daily flight from Karachi, every Thursday and week from Islamabad and from Lahore on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays.                                                                                                               

Only passengers who comply with the UAE government's entry and eligibility rules will be allowed to travel on these flights.


Muhammad Sarhan, Vice President, Emirates, Pakistan, said, “We are pleased to announce the launch of scheduled passenger flights from Pakistan to Dubai, bringing Pakistani customers in the UAE, Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad to their offices, businesses and families. We are also working closely with the Pakistani government to launch operations from Peshawar and Sialkot.                                    We have increased hygiene and security measures at the airport in collaboration with the relevant authorities. Protecting our customers, employees and the community remains our top priority. "
With the launch of scheduled flights to Dubai, Emirates is working closely with the Government of Pakistan to facilitate repatriation of Pakistanis seeking special flights.
This week, the airline launched two special flights from Dubai to Karachi and Islamabad to bring stranded Pakistani nationals to the UAE. The airline's cargo division, Emirates Sky Cargo, delivered essential items on special flights, including basic medicines, perishables, clothing and courier shipments.                                                                                                                                                   Due to health and safety reasons, the services provided on these flights have been changed as per the orders of the government. All Emirates ships are specially cleaned in Dubai after each voyage and disinfectants are used regularly.
