A Chinese court has sentenced a man involved in the murder of a Pakistani student to death

A court in China's eastern province of Jiangsu has sentenced a Chinese man to death for killing a Pakistani student. Later, a Pakistani citizen was killed with a series of knives.

The court said: "Shaw was 18 years old at the time and it was not known at the time of Kang's asylum that Muezzin had died. Shao was sentenced to 17 months in prison for harboring a murder suspect.
