Afghanistan, Taliban attack on security checkpoint, 14 soldiers killed, several wounded

A Taliban attack on a security checkpoint in Afghanistan has killed 14 Afghan soldiers and wounded several others.

(Latest newspaper from newstime-May 29- 2020)According to a foreign news agency, a statement issued by the Afghan Ministry of Defense said that a group of Taliban suddenly attacked a security check post in Dandi Patan, Paktia Province. Security forces also retaliated. Fourteen soldiers were killed and several others were injured in the clash. No militants were reported killed or injured in the clash.
