The first online expo and video conference between Pakistan and China was held in collaboration with the Commerce Department of Shandong Province, China.

The Pak-China Joint Chamber of Commerce and Industry held the first online expo and video conference in collaboration with the Commerce Department of Shandong Province, China, to revive bilateral industrial and trade cooperation between Pakistan and China. About 200 related Chinese companies not only showcased their machinery, technology and products, but also to promote the construction industry in Pakistan in the light of the concessions recently offered by the Prime Minister of Pakistan to the construction industry. Companies were also offered a partnership.

President of Pak-China Chamber Zarak Khan, Senior Vice President Moazzam Gharki and Secretary General Salahuddin Hanif addressed the conference.

Inaugurating the conference, Zark Khan said that in view of the global epidemic of Corona, the economic activities of the United Nations have almost come to a standstill. But developing countries like Pakistan can no longer tolerate this freezing.

That is why we have taken the path of online communication to end the stalemate in industrial and trade activities between China and Pakistan. For which we have the full cooperation of the Department of Commerce and 16 Commerce Bureaus of Shandong Province, China.                                                                                                                        He said that most of the construction material, machinery and hardware companies have participated in the first online expo and video conference. He said that other important industrial sectors would also be covered in the coming sessions. During his address, Pak-China Chamber Senior Vice President Moazzam Ghurki hoped that the aforesaid online expo and video conference would be held between China and Pakistan. Will play a key role in restoring cooperation.
He thanked the Chinese companies and Pakistani institutions for their active participation in the conference and said that the Pak-China Joint Chamber would not allow any epidemic or calamity to stand in the way of promoting business ties between the two countries. General Salahuddin Hanif said that the above-mentioned online expo and video conference have yielded unexpected positive results under which a number of bilateral business partnership agreements will be formed. He said that under this initiative of Pak-China Chamber, a total of 200 Chinese and Pakistani companies have got the opportunity of business partnership.
