Federal Minister Asad Omar said that they are going to have a big administrative experiment. There is some gap left after the 18th amendment. Efforts should be made to fill the existing gaps in administrative matters because if the provinces are strong then the federation is also strong. According to details, Federal Minister for Planning and Development Asad Omar while talking to a program on a private TV channel said that after the spread of Corona virus in the country, now they are going to have a big administrative experiment.
The federal minister said that at present the entire focus of the government is on controlling the crisis caused by the spread of the corona virus. Regarding the objection of not taking the provinces into confidence, Asad Omar said that representatives of every province are sitting in the NCOC.
Decision making is done in consultation with the provinces. The federation and the provinces are on the same page and all the provinces are taken into regular confidence before any decision is taken. As far as differences and politics are concerned, the politics of the federation and the provinces begin in the evening on TV programs. The federal minister says the 18th Amendment was a step in the right direction, but there were still some weaknesses. In this regard, the provinces also believe that there is definitely some gap left after the 18th amendment. Asad Omar says there is nothing wrong with trying to fill the gaps in the administration.
If the shortcomings are removed then the provinces will be stronger and the federation will be stronger. Talking about the 18th Amendment does not mean that the rights of the provinces will be usurped. If the 18th Amendment is considered, its purpose is simply to remove the existing loopholes. Under the 18th Amendment, there is a gap in the health system, especially in relation to the federation and the provinces, which needs to be rectified. It should be noted here that news has been circulating for the last two days that the government is considering changes in the 18th Amendment and the NAB law. Contacts are also being made with the opposition parties in this regard.
