Fluctuations in major Asian stock markets

Tokyo's Nikkei 225 index fell 12.03 points (0.06%) to close at 19771.19 points on Tuesday.

The Topix index closed 1.90 points (0.13%) lower at 1449.15 points. Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index rose 186.28 points to 24,466.42 at the break.
