Emirates is committed to expeditious delivery of refunds to passengers

Emirates is speeding up the refund process for its customers and travel trade partners affected by the Corona virus. The airline has taken proactive steps to change back-end procedures to deal with about 500,000 pending refund requests. Prior to this global epidemic, an average of 35,000 refund requests were received per month, but now this number is reaching 1.5 million per month. However, they are trying to clear the existing backlog by early August.

"This is a difficult time for all airlines, including us," said Sirtem Clark, president of Emirates Airlines.

"The situation in the early weeks of this global epidemic was very disturbing, but we have made it a top priority for our customers by formulating a simple Corona discount policy globally," he said. "Customers requesting their travel vouchers or refunds can simply fill out an online form on the Emirates website, or contact their travel travel booking agent for assistance. Offers three options for people affected by travel barriers. Maintain your current ticket for 24 months.

                                                                                                                                                             Call and reschedule your flight when you decide to travel. Emirates has extended the option to apply to any booked ticket on or before June 30, 2020, to travel on or before November 30, 2020. Part of the ticket equivalent to the unused amount of the travel voucher can be exchanged on your original booking. These travel vouchers can be used for any product or service of Emirates without any change in fees and they will also have more flexibility when traveling again.

Refunds: Customers who have used the option to retain their ticket or have chosen travel vouchers, however, can still apply for a refund if they are unable to travel. There will be no deductions on refunds. Customers who have booked through travel agents should contact their agent for the same facility.
