Corona virus threatens famine in three dozen countries, World Food Program

The executive director of the World Food Program (WFP) has said that there are fears that more harmful effects of the coronavirus could appear in the coming days, which need to be addressed now. The world could face a severe humanitarian crisis in the coming days and famine in about three dozen countries, he said.
He said it would be the worst crisis since World War II, affecting millions. He said ports had been closed due to the corona virus and the supply system had been disrupted, leading to food shortages in many areas.

International organizations keep appealing to them from all over the world, but the aid they receive is far less than they need.
